Nefeli 137
The "Flirt" glasses were used in half a dozen previous photo shoots but virtually all portraits suffered from the excessive glare. Anti-reflective coating on lenses did not exist in 1969. This series with Nefeli is notable as it's the first occasion on which there was hardly any glare in the lenses. The difference can't be explained by the vantage points - I always chose these with great care on previous occasions. However, we were really fortunate with the light in the Boheme Cafe. The staff was quite helpful and they even adjusted the light for us as the evening progressed. Amazingly, the four photos in this series did not require any editing to speak of. Great!
