The young lady looked over the vintage orange glasses and said
"Now I'm curious about the way out if I try two steps at the same time. Tell me if you see anything strange"
To His Lordship's delight, everything went smoothly. The red hue faded away and the model's eyes regained focus as she kept looking over the glasses.
"I think we are back to normal now". She checked her eyesight by first closing her right eye, opening it again, closing her left eye and opening it again. then she took the glasses off.
"Well, well, Mia. You are gaining self confidence quite fast. This was almost an excess of courage. I was under the impression that your left eye adapted itself faster than your right eye. Is that correct?"
"It is. I also noticed a bit more ticklishness in my right eye than in my left eye"
"Ah, that's normal. Minus four is much stronger than minus one"
"I am sorry for taking the shortcut but somehow I felt on safe ground. My appointment has not shown up yet. Silly man"
"Whoever he is, he really missed something special. And may I add, somebody special"
"Thank you, My Lord. Now do you mind if I take another look in the box? You really brought a great collection with you. May I ask, how big is your collection of magic glasses?"
"All in all, about one hundred boxes like this one"
"Go away. Are you serious?"
"Mia, I'm telling you the truth"
