These striking Rodenstock glasses were given to me by a highly experienced photo and catwalk model called Carla, some five years ago. Regular viewers of this weblog may well remember Carla. She was among the very first models who posed for me at the start of my project in 2009 and her style was to become a standard for many later photo shoots. Two weeks ago, Carla attended my farewell reception at the university and she kindly presented me with three pairs of her prescription glasses. She has no need for them anymore after lasic surgery.... Sadly, Carla has now retired from modeling as well but I will always cherish the memory of her great talent and her generosity.
