The young lady checked the next pair of glasses handed to her and said

"These look quite different. The frame is stylish but what's the matter with the lenses?"

"Ah, this will be your first acquaintance with glasses for long sight. If you check your looks in the mirror, you will notice that your eyes are a bit enlarged. You are right about the frame. It was made by a top brand called Silhouette, thirty years ago"

The young lady put up the glasses and had a look in the hand mirror.

"Yes, my eyes look enlarged. That's funny. I'm also beginning to feel something is happening to my eyes"

"That's the adaptation process to the lenses. It may take a bit longer than with the previous glasses but don't worry, you will get there fast enough"

The young lady put away the hand mirror and looked at His Lordship.

"This is weird. Not only my eyes look enlarged but everything I'm looking at seems enlarged as well"
