Silhouette Symphony, opus four....
Unlike the previous Silhouette pair, these are rather extravagant glasses. They were made around the time when retro fashion took over in Germany and Austria (1993) and my impression is that the designers made a final effort to change the tide. The frame is richly decorated and we see a rare experiment with floating lenses. As far as I know, Silhouette did not make use of floating lenses during the 1980's. The Rx of the lenses is minus six - far too much for a model with a prescription of minus two - but Iris has that capacity to give you the impression that her myopia suddenly tripled. Great!
