Silhouette Symphony, opus two....
Beautiful Iris posing in the earliest of the eight pairs selected for this photo shoot. These glasses are noticeably smaller than most of Silhouette's work between the late 1970's and early 1990's. The company was a trendsetter during the heyday of the large frames but also kept an open eye for the fact that large frames did not suit all faces. The shape of this refined frame neatly follows the model's eyebrows instead of creating another eyebrow line above them.
The lenses are over twice the model's prescription but once again, Iris manages an incredibly direct eye contact with her photographer. Great posing indeed.
