Nylor designed and manufactured many half rim glasses during the late 1950's and early 1960's. The nicely decorated pair shown here by Sandra is a fine example. Note the elegant curve in the arms. The only down side of these elegant glasses is the asymmetrical Rx of the lenses, causing a notably smaller image of the model's left eye. Posing in these glasses was a bit of a challenge for Sandra as her own prescription is about halfway the Rx of the lenses. However, she managed quite well, focusing on the image through the stronger lens. Long live the flexible eyes of youth....
