Viennaline have been in the eyewear industry for half a century or more, if they still exist. My collection hosts two dozen of their glasses, covering a span of three decades (1960 - 1990). Daughter Juliana poses in one of the "most recent" examples of their work, coping with the weird distortion of the image caused by the cylinders in the lenses. The cylinders change the image in a subtle way, elongating the model's eyes towards the arms of the glasses. The effect can be quite flattering, depending on the eye shape and makeup. I like the effect in these portraits.
