These Rodenstock glasses, Rx -9, were sent to me by Martin from Cologne, Germany. A request to the Rodenstock company to put a year of manufacture on a number of their glasses in my collection has not led to any information yet. My guess is that these glasses were made in the late 1980's, just before the start of the retro era. The glasses look brand new and the absence of anti-reflective coating is a further indication that their first owner did not intend to use her strong glasses often, only when her contact lenses gave her trouble. It's great that these fine glasses can now be used during photo shoots.
