These make up glasses have been in my collection since the late 1990's. When I got them, they were fitted with +2.50 lenses. Then I met my life partner Nel in 2008 and often saw her putting on make up with her nose pressed to the mirror. When Nel and I celebrated the first birthday of our relation I gave her these make up glasses, fitted with lenses in her prescription for reading. But the pattern of a lifetime is hard to change. Nel could not get used to the make up glasses and after a while she gave them back to me for use during photo shoots. Here Katie shows the difference in eye size between zero and minus nine. Depending on the distance between the eye and the lens, the difference is almost 20%.
