Nowadays many haute couture houses have their own glasses line but this only started in the mid 1970's with Christian Dior. One of the first to follow the example was Pierre Cardin, albeit on a much smaller scale. Be that as it may, these trapezoid Cardin glasses belong to the best eyewear produced during the 1970's.
