Glasses: face à main, circa 1880 - 1890

All the portraits of Leah posing with this antique face à main raised in front of her eyes came out too poor to be posted here but this photo is really nice. Leah is posing in the style of the late 19th century when Bray was starting to become a famous sea resort. The elongated shape of her head, accentuated by the knot, is really wonderful. Upon my request, Leah held the face à main in a position where both sections of the bifocal lenses can be seen against the background. Big compliment to Leah!
