These nameless half rim glasses were sent to me by Barbara, a lady living just across the border in Germany. She thought that her old glasses had a vintage frame from the 1960's and indeed the style is very much like that, yet I believe that the frame was made against the turn of the Millennium in an attempt to revive the style.
The glasses have been popular among models ever since the start of my project. Astrid posed in them in a frozen forest (Astrid 004), soon followed by Elena from Belarus (084) and Nanda (035), all on my first weblog. The glasses were later featured in photo shoots with Karen (106), Jolien (051) and especially Claudia Allegonda (005), a full time professional model from Haarlem whose posing in medieval style was among the highlights of my second weblog. Here Leah joins their ranks in her own beautiful, inimitable way.
