Glasses: Gan Aimh, late 1950's / early 1960's

These glasses were acquired in my native Holland and certainly made during the heyday of the cat eye era. I often refer to this pair as the "Julia Clifford glasses". Julia was a famous fiddle player from the Sliabh Luachra area in Ireland. She can be seen on You Tube in a music session recorded in the late 1960's, sporting a pair of glasses almost identical to the pair shown here by Colleen.
You may notice a change in the background here. I tried to take a few portraits towards the beach but the lighting was unsatisfactory so we turned back to our previous positions.
