Marvelous nostalgic posing by Lady Beata in hat and silver Neostyle glasses from the 1970's. The gardens of Bunratty Castle were a suitable location for this posing style. The Folk Park shows rural life in Ireland before the days of the Great Famine. When this wonderful portrait was taken, the chorus of a song from an early album by Mary Black ran through my head:
"Hard times, hard times, come again no more
Many days you have lingered around my cabin door
Oh hard times, come again no more"
It's always a good sign when the visual element evokes music associations like this.
