A beautiful portrait of Bonnie posing in vintage cat eye glasses from the early 1960's. Again, it's shown in colour end in black & white. The cat eye style is very much in demand among models. A striking series of portraits in these glasses was made in January with my climbing partner Marieke (second weblog) who posed in her gala dress in the snow. Marieke is longsighted (circa + 1.50 / +2.00) but she hasn't decided to take the big step and get herself a pair of glasses. These vintage cat eye glasses are +3.50 and it's possible that their first owner only used them as readers. In spite of the denys and scratches on the lenses, the glasses gave Bonnie fair eyesight for long distance.
