Upon my request, Emma started lifting the glasses and moving them ever so slowly away from her face....

Posing in extremely strong glasses is not all that different from posing in glasses around minus ten. It's a well known fact that having any prescription above minus five means seeing everything in a massive blur without glasses or contacts. Many high myopic ladies even manage to cope better in situations without visual aid than ladies with moderate myopia.

Fortunately, reality is never as bad as what was half expected beforehand. None of the models who posed for me had an objection against their portraits in extreme myodisc glasses when they saw them. The models always kindly give me carte blanche when it comes to posting the results. And so did Emma. What we see here is "simply" a beautiful young lady sporting an extreme pair of glasses.

None of my models can really imagine what they look like in glasses with lenses of -29. Even the model with the strongest minus prescription so far (Petra) had a prescription only half as strong. So it's easy to imagine the thoughts that run into a model's head just after putting on these extreme glasses, looking into the blur of blurs. Here some of these thoughts are translated into images (bottom to top):
"Will I look like a ghost?"
"Or like a person in an antique drawing?"
"Or like a girl in one of those old Polaroid pictures when there was no laser surgery and only primitive contact lenses?"
"Or perhaps like an actress in a remake of Hitchcock's Strangers in a Train?"
"Anyway, I will soon have it in black and white"
