Fine encore posing by Nel (aka Lady Lentilux) in a pair of Zenni glasses acquired in 2012. It was our first experience to do a photo shoot with the lively accompaniment of a "concert" by a feline crowd, some ten feet below us. It's safe to say that Cyprus has no shortage of wild cats. I look forward to do more night photography in the future.

Here Nel is giving a fine example of classic posing, reminiscent of the early days of photography when exposure took several minutes. Note the near absence of power rings. caused by the extreme thickness of the lenses. The "wall of glass" catches the light from the sides, creating an effect not unlike that of a myodisc.

Night photography was not something I had in mind when my project started in 2009. The first time I gave it a try was on Bray Beach, Ireland in 2013, due to logistic problems. My schedule was already full when a reaction arrived from a great model (Simona) so we decided to arrange an evening shoot on the beach. Even till this day I consider the final part of that photo shoot (in pitch dark) one of the very best that ever came out of my humble camera. With this in mind I suggested to Nel that we might try our chances on the terrace of a closed restaurant. We both felt naughty invaders when we arrived at the terrace but it was just a brief shoot so why not? The only witnesses were half a dozen wild cats and they were too busy with their peer group to pay any heed to us and the camera.

A fine portrait of First Lady Nel in a gorgeous new outfit crowned with a new hat and one of the most beautiful glasses ever made by Zenni. Her quiet style of posing was facilitated by the fact that the glasses are in her own prescription for long distance. Nel first posed for me way back in 2008 and we soon became a seasoned model - photographer team. Note the nice decoration of the arms. The cat eye frame is available in three different colors.

Of all the "cat eye" style glasses in Zenni's catalog, this is one of the most beautiful pairs. The frame is designed for ladies with a fairly large PD.

Three "en profil" portraits of my life partner Nel posing in a striking pair of Zenni glasses. Nicknamed "Wall of Glass", this fairly new arrival stands out in several ways. The lenses are no less than 15 millimeters thick at the sides, allowing the model almost exclusive privacy. I ordered the glasses fitted with standard 1.57 lenses but my guess is that Zenni used 1.50 lenses instead.
